The DPM 160 is a digital multimeter produced by Siemens in Germany. It has a variety of ranges of 200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V, 2kV, 200A, 2mA, 20mA and 200mA, and supports automatic range switching.
The DPM 160 LCD module provides a compact, low‑current display for portable instruments. It features programmable decimal points, auto‑zero, auto‑polarity, digital hold, autoranging outputs and a single‑rail version (DPM 1608). Various full‑scale ranges are available, from 200 mV up to 2 kV, and the module includes continuity and low‑battery indicators.
The module is supplied with a snap‑in bezel for easy panel mounting: insert it through the front cut‑out and push until the rear of the bezel is flush (do not push on the LCD). Safety compliance follows the Low Voltage Directive, limiting input voltages to 60 Vdc, and the device meets BS EN 61010 requirements. Detailed pin functions, on‑board links and operating modes are provided for flexible integration.
