The LTC1967 is a high precision extended bandwidth, RMS-to-DC converter with 0.02% linearity that allows simple system calibration. The bandwidth is 40kHz, independent of input voltage amplitude and with no additional gain error. It uses a Delta Sigma conversion technology with only one external capacitor for True RMS-DC conversion. It features low supply current and ultralow shutdown current. The input can be either differential or single-ended, with a common mode voltage range from rail to rail and differential voltage up to 1VPEAK. The output can be rail to rail, with a separate output reference pin that allows level shifting. It is available in an 8-pin MSOP package that saves space. It is used in True RMS digital multimeters and panel meters. It is also used in True RMS AC + DC measurements.
