About this manual

The 14KESD series are axial‑lead transient voltage suppressor (TVS) devices that protect circuits from fast, high‑energy electrostatic discharge and electrical fast transients. They offer a wide stand‑off voltage range from 5 V to 170 V and can clamp pulses with peak powers up to 4000 W for a 1 µs square wave.

These components are supplied in a hermetically sealed DO‑41 axial‑lead glass package (also available in a surface‑mount DO‑213AB MELF package). Key electrical parameters, mechanical dimensions and thermal characteristics are listed in the tables, with operating temperatures from –65 °C to 175 °C.
