Microprocessor Supervisory Circuits ADM8690/ADM8691/ADM8692/ADM8693/ADM8695 is a microprocessor monitoring circuit with features such as low power consumption, precision voltage monitoring, and automatic battery backup power switching.
The ADM869x family of supervisory circuits offers single‑chip solutions for power‑supply monitoring, reset generation, battery backup switching, watchdog timing and RAM write protection in microprocessor systems. Features include low power consumption (0.7 mW), fast chip‑enable gating (3 ns), high current drive (up to 100 mA) and adjustable watchdog and reset timeouts.
Typical applications are microprocessor systems, computers, controllers, intelligent instruments and automotive electronics. The devices are supplied in PDIP and TSSOP packages and include pins for reset, power‑fail, watchdog, battery‑backup and logic control signals.
