2AG Fast-Acting Fuse 224/225 Series provides the same performance characteristics as their 3AG counterpart, while occupying one-third the space.
The 2AG fast‑acting fuses are offered in cartridge form or with axial leads that are board‑washable. They occupy one‑third the space of the 3AG counterpart and are supplied in subminiature glass bodies. Both axial‑lead and sleeved cartridge versions are available for applications such as fluorescent lighting ballast protection up to 350 V.
Electrical characteristics include defined opening times at 100 %, 135 % and 200 % of rated current, agency approvals (UL and CSA) and various interrupting ratings. Packaging options range from tape‑and‑reel for the 224 Series to bulk packs, with specific suffixes for reel and bulk quantities.
