About this manual

The AD8349 is a monolithic RF quadrature modulator designed for operation from 700 MHz to 2700 MHz. It provides excellent phase accuracy (0.3° at 2140 MHz) and amplitude balance (0.1 dB), making it suitable for direct‑to‑RF modulation in communication systems such as GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and broadband wireless transmitters.

The device operates from a single 4.75 V‑5.5 V supply, features an output enable pin that can switch the RF output on or off within 50 ns, and includes a pin‑compatible package with AD8345/AD8346. Detailed specifications, absolute maximum ratings, pin functions, and typical performance graphs are provided throughout the sheet.
