About this manual

The enCoRe™ USB family combines low‑speed USB and PS/2 interfaces in a single 8‑bit RISC microcontroller. The CY7C63722/23 and CY7C63742/43 devices integrate an internal 6 MHz oscillator, a 3.3 V regulator for the USB pull‑up resistor, and configurable GPIO pins, eliminating the need for external components when switching between USB and PS/2 modes.

The devices are offered in 18‑pin PDIP (CY7C63722/23) and 24‑pin SOIC/PDIP (CY7C63742/43) packages, with 6 KB or 8 KB of EPROM, 256 bytes of RAM, up to 16 GPIO pins (50 mA per pin), a 12‑bit free‑running timer, capture timers, and full USB device support (one address, three endpoints).
