About this manual

The LT1776 is a monolithic buck (step‑down) switching regulator designed for high efficiency over a wide input voltage range. It integrates the oscillator, control and protection circuitry, and can accept up to 60 V input while delivering up to 700 mA peak switch current.

The device operates at a fixed 200 kHz frequency, can be synchronized up to 400 kHz, and consumes only 30 pA in shutdown mode. It is offered in 8‑pin SO and PDIP packages and is suitable for automotive DC/DC converters, cellular phone battery chargers, and IEEE‑1394 step‑down converters.
