This document is the UCD9224 datasheet
The UCD9224 is a multi‑rail, multi‑phase synchronous buck digital PWM controller designed for non‑isolated DC/DC power applications. It integrates loop management, sequencing, margining, tracking and phase management to reduce component count and improve efficiency. Typical applications include industrial/ATE equipment, networking, telecommunications, servers, storage systems, and FPGA/DSP power supplies.
Key features include up to 2 MHz switching frequency with 250 ps duty‑cycle resolution, 12‑bit digital monitoring of voltage and current, hardware fault detection, and an on‑chip 48‑pin QFN package. Configuration is performed via Texas Instruments’ Fusion Digital Power Designer, which stores settings in non‑volatile memory with ECC and supports up to 20 k write cycles.
