The CU40026‑TW200A is a 5×7 dot character vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) module offering two lines of 40 characters with 5 mm high characters. It includes a high‑speed parallel/serial interface driver, micro‑controller ICs with refresh RAM, and supports ASCII, Katakana and extended character fonts up to 19,200 baud.
The module operates from a 5 VDC supply (±5 %) drawing up to 500 mA, and provides CMOS‑compatible logic levels. Optical specifications include 700 cd/m² luminance and blue‑green illumination. Environmental limits are –40 °C to +85 °C for both operation and storage, with 20‑80 % non‑condensing humidity. A full set of software commands and timing parameters are listed for control and display functions.
