About this manual

The AD7304 and AD7305 are quad, 8‑bit digital‑to‑analog converters that operate from a single +3 V to +5 V supply or ±5 V supplies. The AD7304 features a serial SPI‑compatible interface, while the AD7305 uses a parallel interface. Both devices offer rail‑to‑rail input and output, internal power‑on reset, and low‑power shutdown features.

Typical applications include automotive, instrumentation, and digitally controlled calibration systems. The devices are available in 16‑lead SOIC, 20‑lead SOIC, and thin‑profile TSSOP packages, with ordering options for reel and lead‑free versions.
