About this manual

The ADG1606 and ADG1607 are monolithic CMOS analog multiplexers from Analog Devices. The ADG1606 switches one of 16 single inputs to a common output using 4-bit binary address lines, while the ADG1607 switches one of eight differential inputs to a common differential output using 3-bit binary address lines. Both devices have an EN input and conduct equally well in both directions when enabled.

The datasheet covers features, applications, functional block diagrams, specifications for dual and single supplies, absolute maximum ratings, pin configurations and function descriptions, typical performance characteristics, test circuits, terminology, outline dimensions, and ordering information. The parts are offered in 28-lead TSSOP and 32-lead, 5 mm × 5 mm LFCSP_VQ packages.

Frequently asked questions

How many inputs does the ADG1606 switch?

It switches one of 16 inputs to a common output, as determined by the 4-bit binary address lines.

How many differential inputs does the ADG1607 switch?

It switches one of eight differential inputs to a common differential output, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines.

What happens when the EN input disables the device?

When disabled, all channels switch off.

What single-supply range does the device support?

The devices support 3.3 V to 16 V single-supply operation.
