ADC101C021/ADC101C027 I2C-Compatible, 10-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with Alert Function
The ADC101C021 and ADC101C027 are monolithic 10‑bit ADCs that operate from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. They use a successive‑approximation register architecture with an internal track‑and‑hold circuit and support I²C‑compatible serial interfaces in standard (100 kHz), fast (400 kHz) and high‑speed (3.4 MHz) modes. The ADC101C021 includes an ALERT pin, while the ADC101C027 provides an address‑selection (ADDR) pin.
Both devices are offered in a 6‑lead TSOT‑6 package, consume very little power (as low as 0.26 mW at 3 V) and feature built‑in alert functionality, automatic power‑down, and 8 kV HBM ESD protection. They are suited for battery‑operated equipment, system monitoring, portable instruments, and test equipment.
