About this manual

The Intersil ISL54000, ISL54001 and ISL54002 family are integrated audio power amplifier systems that combine two bridge‑tied load (BTL) stereo amplifiers in a single 20 Ld 4×4 thin QFN package. They operate from a single +2.7 V to +5 V supply and deliver up to 941 mW continuous average power into an 8 Ω speaker with 0.4 % THD+N.

Key features include low‑power shutdown, thermal overload protection, click‑and‑pop suppression, a 2:1 stereo input multiplexer (ISL54001/02) and mixing capability on the ISL54002. The devices are RoHS‑compliant, offered in tape‑and‑reel, and intended for handheld equipment such as cell phones, MP3 players and portable games.
