SCC 1000 Metal-In ESD Static Shielding Bag is a transparent static shield bag with metallized lining, which meets the requirements of MIL-PRF-81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686, and EOS/ESD Standards
The SCC 1000 is a transparent, metallized static shielding bag designed to provide a static‑safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. It features a four‑layer construction of polyester dielectric, metal foil, and specially processed polyethylene to minimize tribocharging and achieve Faraday shielding.
The bags meet multiple ESD and military standards (MIL‑PRF‑81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL‑HDBK‑263, MIL‑STD‑1686, EOS/ESD) and are available in a wide range of sizes with open‑top or zip‑top closures. Technical specifications such as surface resistivity, thickness, and temperature tolerance are detailed in the sheet.
| Interior Surface Resistivity | <10^12 Ω/square or <10^11 Ω |
|---|---|
| Exterior Surface Resistivity | <10^12 Ω/square or <10 Ω |
| Thickness | 3.1 mils |
| Light Transmission | 40 % |
| Operating Temperature | 250 °F – 375 °F |
| Pressure Rating | 30 – 70 psi |
| Tensile Strength | >25 lbs |
It meets MIL‑PRF‑81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL‑HDBK‑263, MIL‑STD‑1686, and EOS/ESD standards.
The interior surface resistivity is less than 10^12 Ω/square (or <10^11 Ω), and the exterior is less than 10^12 Ω/square (or <10 Ω).
The bags have a material thickness of 3.1 mils.
