The document describes a range of audio and video connectors with many innovative features. Assembling and disassembling is screwless and can be achieved with a few quick turns of the back shell. The connectors feature a single piece latch that is easy to operate and mates smoothly with both lockable and non-latching connectors. The strain relief collet ensures a secure cable grip. The pressed socket contacts 'float' to assist 'wrap-round' contact with the pin, allowing movement between mating connectors. A range of colored plastic coding rings with a single number molded in provides a quick and easy channel identification system. The connectors also have an internal design feature for quick and simple insert assembly. (Note: These connectors are not suitable for mains applications.)
