This manual describes the use of the Vaisala HMK15 Humidity Calibrator, including the description of the calibrator, preparation of salt solutions, calibration of humidity meters and on-site and transport calibrations.
The HMK15 is a humidity calibrator used to calibrate and check humidity sensors and transmitters. It creates a defined relative humidity in a sealed chamber using specific salt solutions. The device includes interchangeable caps for sensor diameters of 12 mm, 13.5 mm (two openings) and 18.5 mm, and optional transport accessories such as a transport lid and a vertical‑position transport bag.
The manual explains how to prepare the required salt solutions (LiCl, MgCl₂, NaCl, K₂SO₄), perform calibrations at two reference humidities, conduct routine maintenance, and replace accessories. Warranty information covering a 12‑month material guarantee and a 6‑month service guarantee is also included. This manual is written in German.
