The MAX3387E is a low‑power, 3 V‑operated EIA/TIA‑232 and V.28/V.24 communications interface. It offers three receivers and three transmitters, each protected to +15 kV ESD using IEC 1000‑4‑2 methods. The device is intended for sub‑notebook computers, PDAs, cell‑phone data cables, battery‑powered and hand‑held equipment.
