About this manual

The MAX5023 and MAX5024 are high‑voltage linear regulators that operate from a +6.5 V to +65 V input and provide up to 150 mA of output current while consuming only 60 µA of quiescent current. They include an active‑low internal microprocessor reset circuit and, for the MAX5023, a watchdog timer that asserts a reset after a 1.6 s timeout.

Both devices are available in fixed +3.3 V or +5 V output versions, with the MAX5024 also supporting an adjustable output via an external resistor‑divider. Additional features include reverse‑battery protection to –60 V, thermal shutdown, enable and hold inputs for self‑holding operation, and a thermally enhanced 8‑pin SO package suitable for automotive temperature ranges (-40 °C to +125 °C).
