About this manual

The ISL9000AMRNCEP is a high‑performance dual low‑dropout regulator (LDO) offering 100 mA per output, very low standby current, and excellent load regulation. It features individual Power‑On‑Reset and enable pins for each LDO, a programmable POR delay for VO2, and a reference bypass pin for noise filtering.

The device is supplied in a 10‑lead 3 × 3 mm DFN package and is targeted at handheld electronics such as PDAs, smartphones, portable instruments, and medical handheld devices. Detailed mechanical drawings and ordering information are provided for PCB layout and procurement.

Frequently asked questions

What is the quiescent current when both LDOs are enabled?

The quiescent current is typically only 42 µA with both LDOs enabled and active.

How can the POR delay for VO2 be programmed?

By connecting a timing capacitor to the CPOR pin, the POR delay for VO2 can be externally programmed.

What are the output voltages of the two LDO channels?

VOUT1 is 3.3 V and VOUT2 is 1.8 V.

What package does the ISL9000AMRNCEP use?

It is supplied in a 10‑lead dual‑flat‑no‑lead (DFN) package measuring 3 × 3 mm (L10.3x3C).
