The AMS4106 is a 5A synchronous PWM buck converter. It integrated high side MOSFET driver, supports external low side MOSFET, and is suitable for LCD TVs and monitors, computer peripherals, portable (notebook) computers, industrial power supply, high performance electronics, consumer electronics, audio power amplifiers, etc.
The AMS4106 synchronous buck converter integrates a high‑side MOSFET driver and supports an external low‑side MOSFET. It offers adjustable output voltage down to 0.600 V, internal soft‑start, over‑current and thermal protection, and a shutdown supply current of less than 1 µA. The device operates over a frequency range of 100 kHz to 750 kHz and is supplied in a 16‑lead SOIC package.
Typical applications include LCD TVs, computer peripherals, portable notebooks, industrial power supplies, audio amplifiers, and other high‑performance electronics. The datasheet provides pin descriptions, absolute maximum ratings, electrical characteristics, performance graphs, and a reference design example.
