About this manual

The 6B50‑1 and 6B50‑2 are 24‑channel digital I/O boards designed for process monitoring, machine monitoring, remote energy management and laboratory data acquisition. They interface with the 6B Series signal‑conditioning modules and can be mixed on a 16‑channel backplane for high‑density applications.

Each board includes a microcontroller, non‑volatile memory for configuration, RS‑232C (6B50‑2) or RS‑485 (6B50‑1) serial communication, and selectable baud rates up to 19.2 kBaud. Power modules can switch up to 3 A, and the boards operate over an industrial temperature range of –25 °C to +85 °C.
