About this manual

The OP‑42 is a fast, JFET‑input precision operational amplifier offering a typical slew rate of 58 V/µs, a gain‑bandwidth product of 10 MHz, and a unity‑gain bandwidth of 900 kHz. It is designed for high‑speed sample‑and‑hold, peak‑detector, and log‑amplifier applications and features excellent radiation hardness for military and aerospace use.

The device is supplied in several package types (6‑pin DIP, 8‑pin plastic DIP, 20‑contact LCC, etc.) and provides a low input bias current of 200 pA, an input offset voltage as low as 0.4 mV, and a common‑mode rejection of 88 dB minimum. Detailed electrical characteristics, typical performance curves, and application notes are included.
