This document describes the features and characteristics of the Analog Devices OP270 dual channel low noise precision operational amplifier, including low noise, low offset voltage, high gain, and excellent common mode rejection ratio.
The OP270 is a high‑performance, monolithic dual operational amplifier offering exceptionally low voltage noise (5 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz) and low input offset (75 µV max). Its low offset drift, high gain, and excellent CMRR make it suitable for low‑noise instrumentation, dual buffers, and active filters. The device is unity‑gain stable and consumes less power than two OP27s.
Key specifications include a 5 MHz gain‑bandwidth product, 2.4 V/µs slew rate, and a supply range up to +18 V. The OP270 is available in 8‑lead PDIP, 8‑lead CERDIP, and 16‑lead SOIC packages and is pin‑compatible with several legacy op‑amps. Ordering information and absolute maximum ratings are provided for design reference.
| Noise (1 kHz) | 5 nV/√Hz |
|---|---|
| Input Offset Voltage | 75 µV max |
| Slew Rate | 2.4 V/µs typ |
| Gain‑Bandwidth Product | 5 MHz typ |
The OP270 exhibits a very low voltage noise of 5 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz.
For higher speed applications, the OP271 with an 8 V/µs slew rate is recommended.
The OP270 is offered in 8‑lead PDIP, 8‑lead CERDIP, and 16‑lead SOIC packages.
