This document describes the features and characteristics of the ADR821/ADR827 model low power, precision reference and op amp.
The ADR821/ADR827 combines a precision voltage reference and an operational amplifier in a 10‑lead MSOP package. Designed for low‑power applications, the device operates from 2.7 V or 2.8 V up to 15 V and offers rail‑to‑rail input and output, making it suitable for battery‑powered instrumentation, medical devices, data acquisition, industrial controls, and automotive use.
The datasheet lists detailed electrical characteristics, including supply current under 400 µA, temperature drift as low as 15 ppm/°C (B‑grade), initial accuracy of ±0.2 %, and various output voltage options (1.25 V or 2.5 V). It also provides a functional block diagram, pin configuration, ordering guide, and mechanical dimensions for the MSOP package.
| Supply current (no load) | 400 µA |
|---|---|
| Temperature coefficient (B‑grade) | 15 ppm/°C |
| Output voltage (A‑grade) | 1.25 V |
| Package | 10‑lead MSOP (Mini Small Outline Package) |
The device draws less than 400 µA of supply current with no load.
The B‑grade version has a temperature coefficient of 15 ppm/°C.
The reference can be ordered for 1.25 V (A‑grade) or 2.5 V (B‑grade) output.
Both devices are supplied in a 10‑lead Mini Small Outline Package (MSOP).
