This document provides instructions for using Canon EF zoom lenses, including the names and functions of various components, safety precautions, usage considerations, lens installation and removal, autofocus mode settings, zooming operations, aperture settings, close-up shooting, infinity distance markings, and adjustment of infrared indicator markings.
The manual begins with safety precautions, warning users not to look through the lens at the sun and to protect the lens from sudden temperature changes by sealing it in a plastic bag before moving between hot and cold environments. It also covers handling tips such as cleaning electronic contacts with a soft cloth and using the front and rear lens caps.
Further sections describe lens installation and removal, focusing mode selection (AF or MF), aperture control (set by the camera), and accessory usage including lens hoods and filters. A specifications table lists focal lengths, apertures, filter size, weight, and other key dimensions for each lens model. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Focal length (EF28-80mm) | 28-80mm |
|---|---|
| Maximum aperture (EF28-80mm) | f/3.5-5.6 |
Place the lens in a sealed plastic bag and let it gradually warm up before use, or let it cool down before moving to a colder area.
Use a soft cloth to gently clean the contacts if they become dirty or fingerprinted.
Set the focus mode switch to MF (or MTF GD) before rotating the focus ring.
