The Serie 8000 is a mechanical pressure switch from Barksdale with a modular structure, variability, high-quality materials, 100% testing, and long compression springs. The Serie 8000 series offers compact, modular pressure switches in membrane or piston construction. They feature a wide pressure range of 0.6 – 600 bar, low and precise switching points, and are suitable for OEM, mobile, industrial hydraulic and pneumatic, and heavy‑industry applications.
Technical data include various housing materials (NBR, PTFE, bronze, aluminium‑die‑cast), temperature limits of –40 °C to +80 °C (piston) or –20 °C to +80 °C (membrane), protection classes up to IP68, and certifications such as GL, Ex ia and cULus. Switching frequencies reach up to 60 /min for piston types and 30 /min for membrane types. This manual is written in German.
