UCC3926 is an integrated circuit for measuring current, it has an internal non-inductive current sensing element and amplifier, can measure up to 20A of current.
The UCC1926/2926/3926 family are ±20 A integrated current sensors that combine a non‑inductive shunt, a low‑offset chopper‑stabilized transimpedance amplifier, and a programmable gain stage. They support high‑side or low‑side sensing, include a logic‑compatible direction status output (SIGN), and feature an over‑current comparator with a user‑set threshold.
The datasheet lists electrical characteristics such as a 1.3 mΩ shunt resistance, a supply voltage range of 2.0 V to 14.5 V, a bandwidth of up to 40 MHz, and temperature operation from –65 °C to 150 °C. Pin descriptions, typical characteristic curves, and a lab‑evaluation circuit are also provided.
| Current rating | ±20 A |
|---|---|
| Input voltage range (CSP, CSN) | -0.2 V to 14.5 V |
| Bandwidth | 20 MHz to 40 MHz |
| Output impedance | 350 Ω to 500 Ω |
| Over‑current reference (OCREF) | 2 V |
The UCC3926 can measure currents up to 220 A.
The SIGN output pin indicates the polarity of the sensed current.
