About this manual

The UC5604 provides nine active termination lines for a SCSI parallel bus and includes a disconnect feature that reduces standby power by disabling the regulator when the control line is opened or driven high. It offers a sourcing current of up to 300 mA, a sinking current of 40 mA, and a supply current of only 100 µA in disconnect mode, with internal trimming for impedance and current tolerance of 7 %.

Technical specifications include a terminator impedance of 97‑129 Ω, regulator output voltage of 2.5‑3.2 V, and thermal shutdown at 170 °C. The device is offered in low‑thermal‑resistance SOIC‑16, ZIP‑16, and TSSOP‑24 packages, and complies with SCSI‑2 standards and hot‑plugging capability.
