The Spinpoint F3 desktop class hard drive series offers capacities from 160 GB up to 1 TB with a 7,200 RPM spindle speed. It features a Serial ATA 3.0 Gbps interface, dual‑ARM firmware, NoiseGuard™ vibration control and advanced ATA functions such as Native Command Queuing and Automatic Acoustic Management.
Technical specifications include DRAM buffer sizes of 8 / 16 / 32 MB, operating temperatures from 0 °C to 60 °C, and a 3.5‑inch form factor measuring 101.5 mm × 26.1 mm × 147.0 mm and weighing up to 625 g.
