VLT® soft starters use a phase angle control principle to allow the application to accelerate smoothly from a standstill to full speed. The product has two models, MCD 200 and MCD 500, with power of 110KW and 800KW respectively.
This manual describes the principle of phase‑angle control used by Danfoss VLT soft starters, the available protection functions and the various control options. It covers the three product families – MCD 201, MCD 202 and MCD 500 – and details their technical data, dimensions and wiring.
Installation, remote operation and communication modules (DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus RTU, USB) are explained, together with programming menus, safety features and troubleshooting guidance. This manual is written in Chinese.
