The RS-3000 UTM Office Gateway is a unified threat management appliance that offers anti‑virus, anti‑spam, intrusion detection, VPN, QoS, and content‑blocking functions to protect internal network resources. It includes web‑based management, user authentication via local, RADIUS or POP3 databases, and supports multiple WAN load‑balancing modes.
Hardware specifications include an Intel IXP 425 processor, 16 MB flash and 128 MB DRAM, multiple Ethernet ports, and RS‑232 console. The device supports up to 50 IPSec VPN tunnels, 100 local users, and operates in a temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C with CE and FCC certifications.
