AN-636 APPLICATION NOTE ADN2819 Evaluation Board

The document describes the features and characteristics of the ADF4216/ADF4217/ADF4218 dual RF PLL frequency synthesizers. It features selectable charge pump currents, selectable dual modulus prescaler, 3-wire serial interface, and is suitable for applications such as wireless handsets, wireless base stations, wireless LANs, communication test equipment, and CATV equipment.

ADF4206/ADF4208 is a dual frequency synthesizer from Analog Devices. It is mainly used in the up-conversion and down-conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. The synthesizer uses a low-noise, digital, phase frequency detector to achieve high-precision and high-stability frequency synthesis.

The AD809 is a 155.52 MHz frequency synthesizer that can be used to create a 155.52 Mbps port's transmit bit clock. The device has a low jitter VCO, low power and wide operating temperature range, making it suitable for generating a 155.52 MHz bit clock for SONET/SDH/Fiber in the Loop systems.

ADF4217L/ADF4218L/ADF4219L are low power frequency synthesizers, with 2.6V to 3.3V power supply voltage, 1.8V logic compatibility, selectable dual modulus prescaler and selectable charge pump.

The AD9901 is a digital phase/frequency discriminator capable of directly comparing phase/frequency inputs up to 200 MHz.

This document introduces the features and characteristics of the ADF4210/ADF4211/ADF4212/ADF4213 four dual RF/IF PLL frequency synthesizers.

This is an application note about ADN2812 data recovery device.

This document introduces the impact of time jitter on the network and the solution.

This document introduces two clock chips AD9516 and AD9549 from Analog Devices. AD9516 is a low phase noise clock generator with integrated 14-channel clock distribution at jitter levels below 500 fs, while AD9549 is a two input clock generator with extended holdover functionality. It has a programmable loop filter to clean jitter from input clocks and features flexible output frequency options.

ADN2819/ADN2811 are multirate limiting amplifiers and clock and data recovery ICs with adjustable slice level. They integrate limiting amplifiers, clock and data recovery, and diagnostic functions. The ADN2819 supports multi-rate operation up to 2.7 Gbps, while the ADN2811 supports 2.5/2.7 Gbps data rates only. They exceed all SONET/SDH jitter requirements under all operating conditions.

AD808 is a 622 Mbps clock and data recovery IC with an integrated post-amplifier function. No external reference clocks are required. All SONET/SDH jitter specifications are exceeded, including jitter tolerance, jitter transfer, and jitter generation. With a substantial level of integration and superior jitter performance, Analog’s AD808 is industry-proven for use in OC-12/SDH-4 fiber optic receivers.

AD8015/AD807 155 Mbps fiber optic receiver ICs are high-performance, low-power solutions designed specifically for fiber optic receivers. The AD8015 and AD807 set the standard for 155 Mbps receiver ICs by providing optimal system performance at minimal power consumption and board space. The AD807 is a 155 Mbps clock and data recovery IC with a fully integrated limiting amplifier and no requirement for external reference clocks. All SONET/SDH jitter specifications are exceeded, including jitter tolerance, jitter transfer, and jitter generation. The AD8015 is a low power, transimpedance amplifier with wide dynamic range and superior noise performance. Together, these products provide a high-performance, highly integrated, low-power solution specifically designed for fiber optic receivers.
