UNITRONIC® LiYCY is a flexible, screened cable for fixed installation and flexible use, but not for high flexible applications in power chains and permanently moved machines. The screen is a protection against electrical interference. UNITRONIC® LiYCY cables are for use in dry, damp and wet rooms, but not outside.

OLFLEX® SERVO 2YSLCY is a flexible cable with special EMC performance due to its double shielded, low capacitance design. It is ideal for frequency converters for variable speed of 3 - AC motors, available in small, medium, and large sizes. Unlike PVC insulated cables, PE insulated cables significantly reduce reactive power consumption during operation of the frequency converter. This design also improves the EMC noise situation of the entire drive system. The cables are suitable for dry, damp, and wet rooms/locations and have good resistance against acids, caustic solutions, and certain oils at room temperature. They can be used in both free and static applications but are not suitable for continuously moving appliances under tensile load or during flexing with guidance.

This document describes Lapp Limited's UNITRONIC® BUS AS-I (G) product in the Farnell catalogue. It is a field-bus cable 3G3G-FI 2 x 1.5 with 2 cores for AS-INTERFACE. This document introduces the SILFLEX SiHF product launched by Lapp Limited in the Farnell Catalogue. The product is a temperature-resistant and halogen-free silicon multi-core cable that can be used in high ambient temperatures ranging from -50°C to +180°C. The cable is resistant to mineral oil, alcohol, acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and saltwater. After combustion, it forms a SiO2 ash skeleton which retains good insulating properties but loses mechanical stability. The cable's gases are halogen-free and non-corrosive. The cable is designed according to VDE 0250 part 816, with a conductor strand made of tinned copper wires according to IEC 228 and VDE 0295 class 5. The core insulation is made of a silicone-based compound 2GI1 according to VDE 0207 part 20, and identification of up to 5 cores is in accordance with VDE 0293, with more than 5 cores being black with white numbers. The outer sheath is made of a silicone-based compound according to VDE 0207 part 21 (2GM1), and the outer sheath color is red RAL 3000. The electrical properties include a nominal voltage of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 2000 V AC at 20°C. The mechanical and thermal properties include a minimum bending radius of 15 times the cable diameter for flexing use. The cable is flame retardant according to IEC 60 332.1 resp. VDE 0482 part 265-2-1, and halogen-free according to IEC 754-1. It has been tested according to VDE 0472 and IEC 811-x.x that is VDE 0473, and it complies with the EC directive ECD 73/23/EEC (low voltage directive).
