The LM193 series consists of two independent precision voltage comparators with an offset voltage specification as low as 2.0 mV max for two comparators which were designed specifically to operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages. Operation from split power supplies is also possible and the low power supply current drain is independent of the magnitude of the power supply voltage. These comparators also have a unique characteristic in that the input common-mode voltage range includes ground, even though operated from a single power supply voltage. Application areas include limit comparators, simple analog to digital converters; pulse, squarewave and time delay generators; wide range VCO; MOS clock timers; multivibrators and high voltage digital logic gates. The LM193 series was designed to directly interface with TTL and CMOS. When operated from both plus and minus power supplies, the LM193 series will directly interface with MOS logic where their low power drain is a distinct advantage over standard comparators.

The LM320L/LM79LXXAC dual marked series of 3-terminal negative voltage regulators features fixed output voltages of −5V, −12V, and −15V with output current capabilities in excess of 100mA. These devices were designed using the latest computer techniques for optimizing the packaged IC thermal/electrical performance. The LM79LXXAC series, even when combined with a minimum output compensation capacitor of 0.1µF, exhibits an excellent transient response, a maximum line regulation of 0.07% VO/V, and a maximum load regulation of 0.01% VO/mA. The LM320L/LM79LXXAC series also includes various self-protection circuitries. Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices may be combined with simple external circuitry for boosted and/or adjustable voltages and currents. The LM79LXXAC series is available in multiple package options. The LM320L series is available in the 3-lead TO-92 package. The LM137L series provides an output voltage range from 1.2V to 47V.

LP3999 is a low noise 150mA voltage regulator designed for RF/Analog applications. It provides low noise and low quiescent current, and can provide accurate output voltage for battery powered applications. The device can also be used to meet more general circuit requirements.

The LM82 remote diode and local digital temperature sensor with two-wire interface

The LM12454/LM12458/LM12H458 12-Bit + Sign Data Acquisition System with Self-Calibration is a highly integrated data acquisition system produced by TI. It operates on just 5V and combines a fully-differential self-calibrating (correcting linearity and zero errors) 13-bit (12-bit + sign) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and sample-and-hold (S/H) with extensive analog functions and digital functionality.

The LM81 is a highly integrated data acquisition system for hardware monitoring of servers, Personal Computers, or virtually any microprocessor-based system. It can be used to monitor power supply voltages, temperatures, and fan speeds in a PC. Actual values for these inputs can be read at any time. Programmable WATCHDOG limits in the LM81 activate a fully programmable and maskable interrupt system with two outputs (INT and T_CRIT_). The LM81 has an on-chip digital output temperature sensor with 9-bit or 12-bit resolution, a 6 analog input ADC with 8-bit resolution, and an 8-bit DAC. Two fan tachometer outputs can be measured with the LM81’s FAN1 and FAN2 inputs. The DAC, with a 0 to 1.25V output voltage range, can be used for fan speed control. Additional inputs are provided for Chassis Intrusion detection circuits and VID monitor inputs. The LM81 has a Serial Bus interface that is compatible with SMBus™.

The LM2854 is a 4A 500 kHz/1 MHz Synchronous SIMPLE SWITCHER® Buck Regulator that offers exceptional power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and output accuracy. It can accept an input voltage rail between 2.95V and 5.5V and deliver an adjustable and highly accurate output voltage as low as 0.8V.

LP2957/LP2957A 5V low-dropout regulator for µP applications

The LP2954/LP2954A is a 5V micropower voltage regulator with very low quiescent current (90 µA typical at 1 mA load) and very low dropout voltage (typically 60 mV at light loads and 470 mV at 250 mA load current). The quiescent current increases only slightly at dropout (120 µA typical), which prolongs battery life. The LP2954 with a fixed 5V output is available in the three- lead TO-220 and TO-263 packages. The adjustable LP2954 is provided in an 8-lead surface mount, small outline pack- age. The adjustable version also provides a resistor network which can be pin strapped to set the output to 5V. Reverse battery protection is provided. The tight line and load regulation (0.04% typical), as well as very low output temperature coefficient make the LP2954 well suited for use as a low-power voltage reference. Output accuracy is guaranteed at both room temperature and over the entire operating temperature range.

DS15BA101 is a high-performance differential buffer from National Semiconductor. It supports data rates up to 1.5 Gbps, supports differential and single-ended inputs, and has adjustable output voltage. It is powered by a single 3.3V supply and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is available in a 3x3 mm LLP-8 package.

The LM2734Z/LM2734ZQ Thin SOT23 1A Load Step-Down DC-DC Regulator is a monolithic, high frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter assembled in a 6-pin Thin SOT23 and LLP non pull back package. It provides all the active functions to provide local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and accurate regulation in the smallest possible PCB area. With a minimum of external components and online design support through WEBENCH®™, the LM2734Z is easy to use. The ability to drive 1A loads with an internal 300mΩ NMOS switch using state-of-the-art 0.5µm BiCMOS technology re- sults in the best power density available. The world class control circuitry allows for on-times as low as 13ns, thus sup- porting exceptionally high frequency conversion over the en- tire 3V to 20V input operating range down to the minimum output voltage of 0.8V. Switching frequency is internally set to 3MHz, allowing the use of extremely small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors. Even though the operating fre- quency is very high, efficiencies up to 85% are easy to achieve. External shutdown is included, featuring an ultra-low stand-by current of 30nA. The LM2734Z utilizes current-mode control and internal compensation to provide high-perfor- mance regulation over a wide range of operating conditions. Additional features include internal soft-start circuitry to re- duce inrush current, pulse-by-pulse current limit, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.

The LM4903 is a 1 watt audio power amplifier from TI that is designed for demanding applications in mobile phones and other portable communication device applications. It is capable of delivering 1 watt of continuous average power to an 8 ohm load with less than 1% distortion (THD+N) from a 5 volt power supply.
