MAXIM MAX6029 Manual
The MAX6029 is a micropower, low-dropout bandgap voltage reference. It combines ultra-low supply current and low drift in a miniature 5-pin SOT23 surface-mount package that uses 70% less board space than comparable devices in an SO package. With an initial accuracy of 0.15% and a 30ppm/°C (max) temperature coefficient, the MAX6029 is suitable for precision applications. This series-mode voltage reference sources up to 4mA and sinks up to 1mA of load current. It has a wide 2.5V to 12.6V supply range, ultra-low 5.25µA (max) supply current, and a low 200mV dropout voltage, making it ideal for battery-operated systems. Additionally, an internal compensation capacitor eliminates the need for an external compensation capacitor and ensures stability with load capacitances up to 10µF. The MAX6029 provides six output voltages of 2.048V, 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, 4.096V, and 5V. The MAX6029 is available in a 5-pin SOT23 or an 8-pin SO package and is specified over the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).

MAXIM DS1862 handbook
The DS1862 is a closed-loop laser-driver control IC with built-in digital diagnostics designed for XFP MSA. The laser control function incorporates average power control (APC) and allows extinction ratio control through a temperature indexed look-up table (LUT). The DS1862 monitors up to seven analog inputs, including temperature and monitor diode (MD) current, which are used to regulate the laser bias current and extinction ratio. Warning and alarm thresholds can be programmed to generate an interrupt if monitored signals exceed tolerance. Calibration is also provided internally using independent gain and offset scaling registers for each of the monitored analog signals. Settings such as programmed calibration data are stored in password-protected EEPROM memory. Programming is accomplished through an I2C-compatible interface, which can also be used to access diagnostic functionality.

MAXIM MAX8211/MAX8212 Manual
Maxim’s MAX8211 and MAX8212 are CMOS micropower voltage detectors that warn microprocessors (µPs) of power failures. Each contains a comparator, a 1.5V bandgap reference, and an open-drain N-channel output driver. Two external resistors are used in conjunction with the internal reference to set the trip voltage to the desired level. A hysteresis output is also included, allowing the user to apply positive feedback for noise-free output switching. The MAX8211 provides a 7mA current-limited output sink whenever the voltage applied to the threshold pin is less than the 1.5V internal reference. In the MAX8212, a voltage greater than 1.5V at the threshold pin turns the output stage on (no current limit). The CMOS MAX8211/MAX8212 are plug-in replacements for the bipolar ICL8211/ICL8212 in applications where the maximum supply voltage is less than 16.5V. They offer several performance advantages, including reduced supply current, a more tightly controlled bandgap reference, and more available current from the hysteresis output.

MAXIM MAX500 Manual(1)
The MAX500 is a quad, 8-bit, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a cascadable serial interface. The IC includes four output buffer amplifiers and input logic for an easy-to-use, two- or three-wire serial interface. In a system with several MAX500s, only one serial data line is required to load all the DACs by cascading them. The MAX500 contains double-buffered logic and a 10-bit shift register that allows all four DACs to be updated simultaneously using one control signal. There are three reference inputs so the range of two of the DACs can be independently set while the other two DACs track each other. The MAX500 achieves 8-bit performance over the full operating temperature range without external trimming.
MAXIM MAX125/MAX126 Manual
The MAX125/MAX126 are high-speed, multichannel, 14-bit data-acquisition systems (DAS) with simultaneous track/holds (T/Hs). These devices contain a 14-bit, 3µs, successive-approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a +2.5V reference, a buffered reference input, and a bank of four simultaneous-sampling T/H amplifiers that preserve the relative phase information of the sampled inputs. The MAX125/MAX126 have two multiplexed inputs for each T/H, allowing a total of eight inputs. In addition, the converter is overvoltage tolerant to ±17V; a fault condition on any channel will not harm the IC. Available input ranges are ±5V (MAX125) and ±2.5V (MAX126). An on-board sequencer converts one to four channels per CONVST pulse. In the default mode, one T/H output (CH1A) is converted. An interrupt signal (INT) is provided after the last conversion is complete. Convert two, three, or four channels by reprogramming the MAX125/MAX126 through the bidirectional parallel interface. Once programmed, the MAX125/MAX126 continue to convert the specified number of channels per CONVST pulse until they are reprogrammed. The channels are converted sequentially, beginning with CH1. The INT signal always follows the end of the last conversion in a conversion sequence. The ADC converts each assigned channel in 3µs and stores the result in an internal 14x4 RAM. Upon completion of the conversions, data can be accessed by applying successive pulses to the RD pin.
MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS MAX6968 8-Port 5.5V Constant-Current LED Driver Manual
The MAX6968 is a serial-interface LED driver that provides eight open-drain, constant-current sinking LED driver outputs rated at 5.5V. It operates from a 3V to 5.5V supply and allows the supply and the LEDs' supply to power up in any order. The constant-current outputs can be programmed together to up to 55mA using a single external resistor. The MAX6968 uses a 25Mb, industry-standard, 4-wire serial interface with a shift-register-plus-latch-type serial interface. It accepts data shifted into an 8-bit shift register and outputs the data eight clock cycles later, allowing cascading of multiple MAX6968s. The output latch is loaded with the data from the shift register using the latch-enable input, determining which LEDs are on and off. The output-enable input gates all eight outputs on and off and can be used as a PWM input for LED intensity control. For LED fault detection, the MAX6977 data sheet can be referred to, which automatically detects open-circuit LEDs. For safety-related applications with a watchdog timer, the MAX6978 data sheet can be referred to, which includes a fail-safe feature that blanks the display if the serial interface becomes inactive for more than 1s. The MAX6968 is part of a family of 12 shift-register-plus-latch-type LED drivers, including 8-port and 16-port types, with 5.5V- or...
MAXIM MAX882/MAX883/MAX884 Guide
The MAX882/MAX883/MAX884 linear regulators maximize battery life by combining ultra-low supply currents and low dropout voltages. They feature 200mA output current capability at up to +125°C junction temperature and come in a 1.5W SOIC package. The 1.5W package (compared to 0.47W for standard SOIC packages) allows a wider operating range for the input voltage and output current. The MAX882/MAX883/MAX884 use a P-channel MOSFET pass transistor to maintain a low 11µA (15µA max) supply current from no-load to the full 200mA output. Unlike earlier bipolar regulators, there are no PNP base current losses that increase with output current. In dropout, the MOSFET does not suffer from excessive base currents that occur when PNP transistors go into saturation. Typical dropout voltages are 220mV at 5V and 200mA, or 320mV at 3.3V and 200mA. The MAX882 features a 7µA standby mode that disables the output but keeps the reference, low-battery comparator, and biasing circuitry alive. The MAX883/MAX884 feature a shutdown (OFF) mode that turns off all circuitry, reducing supply current to less than 1µA. All three devices include a low-battery-detection comparator, fold-back current limiting, reverse-current protection, and thermal-overload protection. The output is preset at 3.3V for the MAX882/MAX884 and 5V for the MAX883. In addition, all devices employ Dual Mode™ operation, allowing user-adjustable outputs from 1.25V to 11V using external resistors.
