Littelfuse AC and CG3 Series Gas Plasma Arrester (GDT) Datasheet
The AC and CG3 Series Gas Plasma Arresters are two‑electrode surge protection devices designed for AC line protection and high‑voltage isolation. The AC series (models AC120 and AC240) protect 120VAC and 240VAC circuits, while the CG3 series covers a voltage range of 1.0 kV to 75 kV for applications such as CRT terminals, CATV equipment, and medical electronics.
Key specifications include low capacitance (<1.5 pF), an operational temperature range of –40 °C to +90 °C, and the ability to extinguish follow‑on currents of at least 200 A. Devices are offered in various lead and packaging options, including tape‑and‑reel, bulk, and with or without leads.
