About this manual

The VC0363 USB 2.0 Camera Processor targets embedded notebook webcams and stand‑alone webcams. It integrates a USB 2.0 HS/FS transceiver, 32 KB ROM, an 8051‑compatible micro‑controller, 2 KB on‑chip SRAM and EEPROM for configuration settings. The device supports a wide range of CMOS image sensors via a programmable sensor clock, parallel interface and I²C configuration.

Video output can be delivered in YUV (YUY2) or MJPEG formats, with maximum resolutions of VGA 640×480 @ 30 fps and SXGA 1280×1024 @ 7 fps. The processor is supplied in three package options (T‑QFN‑48, LQFP‑48, T‑QFN‑32) to suit various board layouts.
