The VC0338 is a high‑performance USB 2.0 camera processor designed for standalone PC cameras. It integrates a 10‑bit ISP, AE/AWB/AF functions, and a MJPEG compression engine, while remaining fully compliant with USB Video Class 1.1 and USB Audio Class 1.0 standards.
The device includes an 80‑51 microcontroller, 64 KB OTP ROM, 6 KB RAM, and supports external flash for DFU as well as EEPROM for settings. Its sensor interface accommodates most CMOS image sensors with RAW/YUV output, a 10‑bit parallel bus, programmable clock, and I²C configuration. Video output ranges from VGA to QSXGA, and audio input is provided via built‑in PDM and I²S interfaces.
