This instruction manual covers the assembly, operation, troubleshooting, and factory service for the Newport ATS Overhead Table Shelf System.
The Newport ATS Overhead Table Shelf System provides a convenient off-the-table platform for mounting and storage of power supplies, controllers, and instruments when working with any of the Newport Table Systems. The system includes slots and a supply of square nuts for attaching additional shelves and accessories below the main unit.
Assembly involves placing protective sheeting on the floor, sliding square nuts into the upper track of the shelf, installing shelf brackets with bolts and washers, and fastening vertical supports to the brackets. For systems longer than 6 feet, a center support rail is also used.

Newport Corporation warrants the product to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment.
The power cords must be connected to a three-wire, grounded outlet. Do not disable the ground by removing the ground pin.
The system includes a supply of 1/4-20 and M6 square nuts for attaching additional shelves and other accessories.
