Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Loongson 3A4000 and 3B4000 regarding HyperTransport?

The 3A4000 supports only one HT controller for IO bridge connection, while the 3B4000 supports dual controllers (HT0/HT1) and multi-processor interconnect structures.

Can unused HyperTransport channels be left floating?

Yes, but the corresponding RESETn signal must be pulled down to handle the unused channel correctly.
