Data sheet for the Danfoss AME 435 QM actuator, detailing specifications, installation, wiring, and operation for modulating control.
The AME 435 QM actuator is designed for modulating control of pressure‑independent balancing and control valves (AB‑QM) from DN 40 to DN 100. It automatically adapts its stroke to valve end positions, offers a selectable flow‑adjustment feature (linear to logarithmic), and includes self‑calibrating and LED signalling functions.
Installation can be performed horizontally or upwards without tools, and electrical connections are accessed by removing the cover. The actuator provides selectable speed, multiple input signal options, manual override, and clear LED indicators for calibration, positioning, normal, and standby modes. Wiring diagrams, jumper/DIP‑switch settings, and disposal instructions are also included.

Press the STAND BY/RESET button for 5 seconds; the bi‑colour LED will flash green and the actuator will run the calibrating cycle.
The actuator can be set to either 7.5 seconds per millimetre or 15 seconds per millimetre via the speed selector switch.
Disconnect the power supply or press the STAND BY/RESET button, then turn the control knob on the housing to adjust the valve position; restore power or press the button again to exit override.
