About this manual

The ADT7470 is a multi-channel temperature sensor and PWM fan controller designed to interface directly with an I2C bus. It monitors up to 10 daisy-chained TMP05 temperature sensors and controls the speed of four fans independently via automatic or manual control loops.

The device features a FULL_SPEED input for external hardware control under extreme thermal conditions and an SMBALERT interrupt to communicate error conditions such as fan failures or out-of-limit measurements. It supports fast I2C standards up to 400 kHz and meets SMBus 2.0 electrical specifications.
