About this manual

The AD7879 and AD7889 are 12‑bit SAR ADCs designed to drive 4‑wire resistive touch screens. They operate from a single 1.6 V to 3.6 V supply and provide low‑on‑resistance switches for touch‑screen interfacing. Built‑in preprocessing includes median and average filters to reduce LCD and external noise.

The devices support both SPI and I²C serial interfaces, offer programmable conversion parameters, and include optional auxiliary inputs for battery monitoring or general‑purpose I/O. They are available in compact WLCSP and LFCSP packages suitable for handheld and portable applications. This manual is written in Chinese.
