This guide introduces the Dell E-Port docking device, its purpose, and the Dell EE series laptops it supports. It details the various connectors—including RJ‑45, USB 2.0, DisplayPort, VGA, and power adapters—and how they can be used with external peripherals.

The E-Port supports Dell EE series laptops, but it is not compatible with any earlier laptop series.
The device includes an RJ‑45 network connector, a USB 2.0 connector for up to five devices, audio, DisplayPort, DVI, VGA, eSATA, and an AC adapter connector.
Up to five USB 2.0 compatible devices can be connected; three USB ports are on the left side and two on the rear.
