About this manual

The Motorola MPXAZ4100A series is an integrated, signal-conditioned silicon pressure sensor for manifold absolute pressure (MAP) applications in engine control. It senses absolute air pressure within the intake manifold to help compute the fuel required for each cylinder, and is temperature compensated and calibrated.

The device provides a 0.3 to 4.9 V analog output over a 20 to 105 kPa pressure range and is offered in a durable thermoplastic (PPS) small outline surface mount package (Case 482/482A) with rail or tape-and-reel packing options.
