Frequently asked questions
What safety precautions must be observed before powering on the CDI9000?
Only qualified personnel may perform installation and maintenance, the inverter must be fully covered before energizing, and the power must be disconnected for at least 5 minutes to discharge internal capacitors.
When should an AC reactor be installed with the CDI9000?
Install an AC reactor when the power‑to‑inverter capacity ratio exceeds 10:1, when there are thyristor loads or power‑factor correction devices, or when the three‑phase voltage imbalance is greater than 3 %.
How is the rated output current limited during start‑up?
The start‑up current is limited to 150 % of the rated current (or 125‑200 % depending on the model) to protect the inverter and motor.
What is the purpose of the built‑in regenerative braking unit?
Models up to 7.5 kW have internal regenerative braking; larger models require an external braking resistor to provide additional braking torque.
