The Hypertension Branch of Chinese Geriatric Medical Association has formulated the China experts consensus on the managements of hypertension in the very old people. The consensus aims to further strengthen the prevention and treatment of hypertension in China, promote the management of blood pressure in elderly people, and improve the blood pressure management strategy, effectively reduce the harm of hypertension to the elderly population.
