The manual introduces the Signet 4-3000-5 AgRotor Flow Sensor Assembly, which can be used to measure water flow in irrigation piping systems, has the characteristics of reliability and accuracy, and does not require recalibration after routine maintenance. It can be mounted at any angle for versatile installation. It has an innovative rotor design, one moving part, snap-on rotor replacement (no special tools required), and reminds the user to pay attention to the risk of electrostatic discharge and electric shock.
This manual provides instructions for installing and maintaining the Signet 4-3000-5 Remote AgRotor Flow Sensor Assembly in irrigation piping systems. It includes safety warnings, mounting procedures, wiring details, and rotor replacement steps. The sensor uses an electromagnetic signal from the rotor tip to measure flow without recalibration after maintenance. It can be mounted at any angle and features a snap-on rotor design for easy replacement without special tools.
The manual also covers specifications such as pipe size compatibility, accuracy, cable length, and electrical requirements. Maintenance guidelines recommend checking for wear at least once per season and include steps for depressurizing the system before servicing. Replacement parts and accessories are listed with part numbers for easy ordering.

Install the sensor by drilling a 2.5-inch hole in the pipe, placing the flanged fitting half over the hole, and tightening bolts to no more than 65 foot-pounds.
Insert a screwdriver or coin under the rotor retaining clip to release the rotor assembly, then gently separate the sensor halves. Reinstall in reverse order, ensuring the retainer clip clicks into position.
The accuracy is ±2% of reading under reference conditions.
The maximum pressure rating is 150 psi at 68°F, or 32 psi at 140°F.
