This document is the user manual for JVC GY-HM200SP, which introduces how to use network connections, overlays and scorebot live data feeds
This guide helps non-technical users set up and use scoring overlays with the JVC GY-HM200SP camera. It covers selecting overlays, establishing connections (P2P, wireless, hardwired, or cellular), controlling overlays, and customizing or uploading overlays. Overlays become part of the video and cannot be removed after recording. The guide includes setup steps for each connection type and instructions for creating and importing custom overlays via an SD card.
Access the Overlay Settings via the main menu using the mini-joystick to scroll and select the desired overlay type.
Overlays are available for Baseball, Basketball, Football, Type 1 (for Soccer, Rugby, Field Hockey, Lacrosse), and Type 2 (for Volleyball, no clock).
You can connect via P2P, wireless, hardwired, or cellular methods. P2P requires a USB wireless antenna and does not support streaming. Wireless and hardwired connections require an IP address.
Copy the .sdp file to the SD card’s root directory, insert the card into the camera, go to Overlay Settings, and select Import User Layout to import the overlay.
